WWE recently released six superstars that includes former Universal Champion Braun Strowman, Buddy Murphy, Ruby Riott and more. Aleister Black is also one of the surprising releases as he recently returned to WWE TV.
Following his release, Aleister Black appeared on Thea Trinidad’s Twitch channel live streaming and addressed his WWE departure. He stated that Paul Heyman fought tooth and nail for him when he was under his wing.
“When I was under [Paul] Heyman’s wing, Heyman fought tooth and nail for me but it was always at the end of the day when the decision is made, the decision is made.” Black continued, “Heyman couldn’t protect everyone and he tried his best and I tried my best.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)

During his time in Raw late 2019 and early 2020, Paul Heyman was Executive Director to Raw and Aleister Black worked under him. Heyman gave a huge push for Black but after Heyman’s exit from that role, Black push was halted.
Later in October, Aleister Black drafted to Smackdown and kept off to television. After seven months, company brought back Aleister to WWE TV with cryptic vignettes and two weeks back he attacked Big E teasing a feud against him. But surprisingly WWE released Aleister Black in recent round of cuts.
Im gathering my thoughts as this was a complete left field for me as obviously we just started the dark father character but this was it, thank you so much WWE universe for allowing me to create and give you small bits of myself.
