From the past few days we got several information about the WWE’s reason for releasing recent set of superstars and now, we got backstage update about Santana Garrett’s WWE release.
According to the Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Santana Garrett’s release from the company might be the least surprising among the backstage in WWE. It was almost a year she got call-up to main roster from NXT but never used on either Raw or Smackdown.
This report also stated that multiple creative pitches were made for Santana Garrett but company didn’t use any of them. WWE only came close to the one idea of teaming Santana Garrett, Chelsea Green and Vanessa Borne, which Green revealed as Charlie’s Angels meets The Pussycat Dolls.

In the March, it was speculated that both Chelsea Green and Santana Garrett will make there debut on Smackdown after they posting the tweets infront of Smackdown logo but it didn’t happen. Now, both Chelsea Green and Santana Garrett were released by WWE.
If Santana Garrett was under main roster contract then she would be slated for 90-day non-compete clause or else of she was still under NXT contract then she would be only set for 30-day non-compete clause.
Thank you, @wwe 🙏❤️✨
