According to the Fightful Select report, The Monster Braun Strowman’s WWE release came mainly due to his big contract. Strowman inked a four year deal in 2019 and the reports claimed that he was earning $1 million per year.

Braun Strowman signed a new deal right towards end of his previous contract in 2019, when he was in middle of his big push in WWE. Later, he won the Universal Championship by defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania 36. Strowman was seen the next big star in WWE with his monstrous push.
Braun Strowman was seen on WWE TV regularly and involved in the WWE title picture few weeks back. He also battled Almighty Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash with WWE Title on line but unsuccessful to win the title. Now, he was surprisingly released by the company.
