From the past few months Cesaro gained lot of momentum and also got a big win over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37. Later, he also got the long waited Universal Championship opportunity at WrestleMania Backlash.
However, Roman Reigns successfully defended his Universal Championship against Cesaro. Instead of getting rematch for the title, Cesaro renewed his feud with Seth Rollins and battled at Hell In A Cell 2021 PPV, which was won by The Messiah Seth Rollins. Now, it seems like his main scene already came to an end.

On the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed about what’s next for Cesaro in WWE. He stated that Roman Reigns needed an opponent following Daniel Bryan and they elevated Cesaro. So, he thinks the Cesaro migh not back into main event scene.
“He is going where he’s going anyway. He was put up there because they needed an opponent for Roman Reigns and, you know Daniel Bryan had put him over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over to get him ready.”
“Look, Cesaro has been there for how many years? If Vince McMahon liked him he would have been in the main event for seven years. This is where they slotted him. Roman needed an opponent, he was getting a little hot. Now it’s back to whatever, they probably have an idea for Seth now. You know Seth put him over on the way up, and then he put Seth over on the way down. This was probably determined months ago.” (H/T: Ringside News)
Following that, Roman Reigns started feud with Smackdown Tag Team Champion Rey Mysterio and defeated him in Hell In A Cell match on last week’s Friday Night Smackdown. It was also expected that Roman Reigns might be facing 16-time World Champion John Cena at WWE Summer Slam 2021 event.

We have see if WWE will gave another push to Cesaro. With the live fans returning to the arena and if Swiss Cyborg Cesaro get the huge organic reaction from the fans, then, WWE might think to renew his push in the company.
