Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are the current biggest superstars in WWE. Previously, they worked together as The Shield and later Seth Rollins turned on them. In past they both have faced each other many times but in all those cases Roman Reigns is the babyface.
Now, Roman Reigns is the one of the top heel and was at peak with his Tribal Chief gimmick. WWE fans are also eagerly waiting to see the most anticipated clash between the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and The Messiah Seth Rollins.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have came face-to-face in some segments recently, however, that didn’t pull the trigger on a proper feud between them. But the feud between these two former Shield brothers will definitely take place in future.
On the recent addition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that the WWE might plan the feud between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns after Summer Slam 2021 event. Previously, it was reported that Seth Rollins might face Edge at Summer Slam, so, if Seth manages to beat Edge then that sense for him to challenge Roman Reigns for Universal Title.
“That would probably be September, if they even get to it by September, because the last I heard for SummerSlam was Edge vs Seth Rollins. So, you know if Seth Rollins were to beat Edge then it makes all the sense in the world to go with Seth vs Roman Reigns at that point.” (H/T: Ringside News)
On last week’s Friday Night Smackdown, Seth Rollins had a backstage segment with Adam Pearce and stated that he’s ready to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns. But Edge returned back and got the Universal Title match at Money In The Bank 2021 PPV.

Seth Rollins wasn’t happy about the Edge getting title shot, who hasn’t been here since WrestleMania and lashes out that he deserved that title opportunity than the Edge, during Talking Smack. So, this seemingly planted seeds to start the feud between Edge and Seth Rollins for upcoming WWE Summer Slam 2021 PPV.
