Now, we got some backstage details about the Aleister Black shocking release and also additional information about Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega) WWE status.
Recently, it was reported that Zelina Vega spotted at WWE Performance Center and she may possibly re-signing with company. Now, Fightful Select reported that they didn’t heard anything about the specific plans for Zelina Vega.
There are no updates about the Zelina Vega’s official re-signing with the WWE or if she was factored into Aleister Black’s creative direction in the company.
Fightful also reported that from teh creative standpoint Aleister Black was brought back to WWE TV to start feud with former Intercontinental Champion Big E but WWE management didn’t plan any long-term endgame for Big E and Black program.
It was also noted that creative associated with the Black and Big E storyline were unaware about the WWE plans of releasing Aleister Black. It was also reported that creative team were instructed to ‘stop making pitches’ for Black and company didn’t provide any specific reason for this instructions.
During the Twitch live stream after his WWE release, Aleister Black stated that budget cuts were the reason for his WWE release.
