Tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Yuengling Center at Orlando, Florida. WWE announced one segment and one match for tonight’s show.
Last week Apollo Crews successfully defended his IC Title against Kevin Owens but following the match Sami Zyan attacked Owens. Then, WWE announced that Kevin Owens and Big E will team up to face Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and Sami Zyan in tag team match.
Last week, The Mysterios were brutally attacked by Tribal Chief Roman Reigns during the Smackdown Tag Team Titles match against The Usos. Tonight, will Rey Mysterio and Dominik get their payback on Universal Champion Roman Reigns?
WWE also announced that The Messiah Seth Rollins will appear as special guest on Bayley’s Ding Dong Hello show.
Here The WWE Friday Night Smackdown Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Tonight’s Smackdown opened with Universal Champion Roman Reigns sitting on his locker room suite along with his cousin Jey Uso and Paul Heyman. They are watching last week’s main event between The Usos and Smackdown tag team champions The Mysterios.
Roman Reigns staring at Jey Uso and says he saved them last they owe him. Reigns says one thing he will not stand for is..Jey says, embarassing the family. Reigns says he knows Jey understand this but does his brother Jimmy get this? Music hits, here comes the Jimmy Uso and walks towards the ring, Roman Reigns seeing this on TV along with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman.
Jimmy says last week was supposed to be celebrations as they were close to become the two time Smackdown Tag Team Champions but they got robbed. He’s not here to make excuses but splitting the facts. First referee made a bad call but that’s cool as they got rematch on the same night but then, here comes the Head of the Table putting his nose of their business during the second round of match.
Jimmy Uso says Roman Reigns just had ti make it about himself and he couldn’t let them have their time. Jimmy continued that Universal Champion Roman Reigns got them disqualified on a purpose. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Paul Heyman watching this all from the TV at backstage.
Jimmy Uso then asks what’s the point of attacking Smackdown Tag Team Champions Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Jimmy says he thought about it and the issue is Roman Reigns is jealous of him, he’s jealous because he wants Jey with him, he’s jealous because they too want to represent the family and hold the gold like him. Jimmy further says he sees the mind games of Roman Reigns and he wants to tear away Jey Uso from him. Jimmy says he is his brother’s timekeeper not Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns staring at Jey Uso in his locker room suite. Jimmy Uso says tonight he’s going to something that he won’t regret and drops the mic and exits the ring. At Backstage, Roman Reigns telling Jey Uso to better take care of this. Jey Uso walks off while Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman staring at him.
– Jey Uso approaches Jimmy Uso at backstage and asks about his comments on Roman Reigns earlier. Jey agrees that they could’ve won the tag team titles last week. Jimmy says it’s can’t be like that anymore and asked Jey to be with him and Jey is froze. Jimmy says Reigns is disgracing their family right now.
Jey Uso yells back at Jimmy and asks what he wants him to do. He points out how Jimmy Uso was out last year due to injury and his expenses wasn’t cheap. Jey once again asks what he wants him to do. Jimmy tells that if Reigns wants to see him, he will be in their locker room and walks off.
– Kevin Owens and Big E defeated Sami Zyan and Apollo Crews via Pinfall. After the match, Commander Azeez checking on Apollo Crews and Sami Zyan joins him at ringside. Crews recovers and asks him why are they celebrating because they didn’t beat him, they only win because he teamed up with stupid Sami Zyan.
Them, Apollo Crews challenged a another match against for next week but it was against himself and Commander Azeez. Crews and Big E accepted the challenge and both teams started yelling at eachother. Sami then starts talking trash to Crews, he calls him fraud for blaming him. Sami says Crews owes him an apology but Azeez drops him with Nigerian Nail.
– Rey Mysterio at backstage venting frustrations to WWE Producer Adam Pearce.
– The Street Profits are at backstage and Chad Gable walks upto them. Gable says he’s here to apologize for Otis attacking them last week. For a great gesture he cancelled their tag team match tonight but Street Profits isn’t happy with it. They says Gable can’t control Otis but they can if he crosses the line again and starts joking around Gable. Gable says this their problem, always joking around.
Chad Gable says now they have gotten themselves back into the match and asks which one will be fighting against him tonight? Street Profits says Montez Ford can take him tonight. Gable says he won’t have Otis at ringside if Angelo Dawkins agrees to stay at backstage too. They agreed but Gable says Otis is still angry and walks off.
– Jey Uso approaches Universal Champion Roman Reigns at backstage and Reigns asks where is Jimmy Uso. Jey says Jimmy is mad out there, talking angry and doesn’t know where he is. Roman Reigns asks again, where is Jimmy Uso? Jey says Jimmy told him that if Roman Reigns wants him to see then he had to come their locker room.
Roman Reigns smirks and asks if The Usos have their own locker room now. He ask why Jimmy is doing this to Jey, he’s putting him the middle and making him bad guy. Reigns keeps laughing at the idea of The Usos having their own locker room and asks if he’s sure it wasn’t Roman Reigns’ cousin’s locker room. Reigns says Jey to tell his brother that he’s coming.
– Liv Morgan defeated Carmella via Pinfall. After the match, Liv Morgan stand tall and taunts Carmella. Then, Carmella calls Hamilton over the apron and tells him to announce as her the still most beautiful women in WWE. Carmella’s music hits and she stand on annouce table and brags about being beautiful.
– Bayley makes her way to the ring for the must see edition of “Ding Dong Hello!” Show. She joke’s around and shows off how she upgraded her set with new photos and other items including one photo for Micheal Cole. Then, Bayley invites her special guest Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and enters through Bayley’s front door in the ring after the bell door rings. Seth praises her for upgrading the set and also for her recent work against Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. Seth Rollins says Bayley will mop the floor with Binaca Belair at Hell In A Cell and wins back the title.
Seth Rollins has a clip to play and says he has to know what it was all about as it was a master class in mind games. We see the last week’s segment between Bayley and Binaca Belair, how Bayley appeared on screens of ThunderDome. Bayley started laughing uncontrollably and Seth Rollins too. Rollins says it’s feel really good to laugh and Bayley says laughter is a good medicine.
Bayley says if Rollins thought that was good then watch this, she shows us the Seth Rollins destroying Cesaro three weeks back and both laughing uncontrollably. Bayley’s door bell rings and Seth thinks Bayley order food or a surprise for him. Bayley asks if Seth Rollins got her anything. Seth Rollins opens the door and it’s Cesaro.
Cesaro attacks him with right hand and continuing to unload on him. He beats him around the ring, destroying him and rips of his suit and hits him to the door. Cesaro rips Rollins pants off and beating him. Bayley is watching it and screaming no. Seth Rollins escapes through the barrier with no pants. Cesaro stands tall in the ring and Bayley isn’t happy with it. Music hits, here comes Smackdown Women’s Champion Binaca Belair and laughing out uncontrollably and Bayley seethes in the ring.
– Megan Morant at backstage with Rey Mysterio and he says Dominik hurt, Roman attacked his boy viciously. Rey says he really don’t care who you are and how big your are, if you come after his son, then, he’s coming after you. Rey says it’s worst kind of torture seeing his son in so much pain.
Rey says he vowed to protect his son Dominik when he was born but last week he failed. He says Dominik’s injuries weren’t a freak accident but it was on the hands of a man who claims to be about his family and won’t think twice about destroying his own. Rey says Roman Reigns can do whatever he wants with his own family but now, he’s messing with Rey’s family. Rey says he will be out in the ring later and calls out Roman Reigns. If Reigns is dare enough to show you, Rey will show him what a family is supposed to look like.
– Montez Ford defeated Chad Gable via disqualification. At the closing moments, Otis came out and attacked Montez Ford. After the match, Otis continued attacking Ford, he puts him through steel steps and brings back to ring and hits World’s Strongest Slam. Then, Otis delivers flying splash from the second rope. Gable smiles and Dawkins came out. Otis levels him and tosses Dawkins out in floor. Then, Otis hits big vader Bomb on Ford from second rope. WWE officials came out to break it.
– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated King Corbin via Pinfall. After the match, King Corbin attacked Shinsuke Nakamura and rushes towards his crown on announce table, Rick Boogs also runs towards it but Corbin drops him. Then, Nakamura snatches crown from the ring and Boogs catches Corbin and sents him over announce table.
– King Corbin approaches Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville at backstage and tell them to order Shinsuke Nakamura to give his crown back. Deville laughs and Corbin isn’t happy and asks is it funny. Adam Pearce tells it’s serious and proposes King Corbin vs. Shinsuke Nakamura with crown on line on next week’s Friday Night Smackdown.
– Roman Reigns enters The Usos locker room along with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso. Reigns shows the Universal Championship and asks if Jimmy understands it. Jimmy says he doesn’t care about the title and what Roman Reigns wearing. He cares about what’s inside, he care about Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
Jimmy says how Roman Reigns is playing games with them since they were kids and he watched whole last year how Reigns used Jey. Jimmy says one day Roman Reigns will get into Hall of Fame but not as Roman Reigns but as spoiled b***tc. Reigns tells Jey to see how Jimmy is acting, Jey is middle of Reigns and Jimmy. Both are arguing to tell something to Jey but Jey got pissed off and walks away.
Jimmy yells at Roman Reigns and says he’s ready to fight him. Reigns says Jimmy wants to fight him, for what? We’re not kids anymore, we are here in family business and this is their livelihood. Reigns says this isn’t how we take decisions and represent our family. Reigns asks why Jimmy is doing this to his brother.
Reigns countinue that Jimmy came out first and he should depend Jimmy to do the right thing because this is all about us, and the only way to get it’s done is to be best on each week. Reigns says he’s only know how to be the best and asks why and how Jimmy could treat his younger brother like this. Reigns brings up “Day One” line and asks if it’s really like that when he just let Jey go? Reigns tells Jey elevated himself for whole year and Jimmy lets him go like that? Don’t do this for your brother and make right with him. Jimmy shakes his head and walks off. Roman Reigns takes his title and looks at Jimmy Uso.
– The Smackdown Tag Team Champion Rey Mysterio came out to the ring and calls out Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Rey says Roman Reigns disrespected his family and now he’s waiting. Music hits, here comes the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman and hits the ring.
Rey says he acknowledges Roman Reigns, this is what Roman Reigns wanted to hear. Rey continues he acknowledges Roman Reigns for the rat bastard that he is. Rey also acknowledges Reigns as the rat bastard who put his hands on Dominik Mysterio. Rey says he’s a man willing to fight even if he loses the fight.
Rey Mysterio further says he acknowledges Roman Reigns as a man he wants to fight inside Hell In A Cell. Rey tells he laid the challenge and it’s time for Roman Reigns to acknowledge. Paul Heyman gives mic to Roman Reigns. Reigns says he acknowledges Rey Mysterio as father.. but suddenly Rey attacks Roman Reigns with kendo stick and unloads on him.
Roman Reigns takes a shot and holds the kendo stick and hits headbutt to Rey Mysterio. Then, Reigns goes for powerbomb but Rey continued attacking with Kendo stick. Rey unloading on Reigns but Reigns send him to the floor. Rey comes back but Reigns hit superman punch to Rey Mysterio and goes for spear.
But suddenly Dominik Mysterio came in and attacked Roman Reigns with kendo stick. But Roman Reigns fights back and goes for powerbomb and throughs him to the floor. Then, Rey Mysterio attacks Roman Reigns from behind with kendo stick and checks on Dominik. Reigns kicks Rey into his face and looks in pain. WWE officials came out and stops Roman Reigns and Smackdown goes off air.
