Tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown is live from WWE ThunderDome at Yuengling Center at Orlando, Florida. It’s a Hell In A Cell fallout episode of Smackdown and WWE announced one match and a segment for tonight’s show.
After her successfully title defense at Hell In A Cell Pay-Per-View, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will team up with Cesaro to face Bayley and Seth Rollins in mixed tag team match.
Last week, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns successfully defended his Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio in Hell In A Cell match and tonight there will be the victory celebrations of Roman Reigns Roman.
Here The WWE Friday Night Smackdown Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Tonight’s Smackdown opened with Tribal Chief Roman Reigns sitting in his locker room suite and Paul Heyman says Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Mysterios are acknowledging him from their hospital beds, but aren’t here tonight. Jimmy Uso walks in and Reigns asks about Jey Uso. Jimmy says Jey is a no-show tonight.
Jimmy says he finally got in touch with Jey but Jey said he’s not coming back. Reigns shakes his head, he’s not happy for all he did to Jey and now, Jey is not coming for work. Then, Jimmy says he’s here tonight and he got Reigns, family for family. Reigns asks if Jimmy will be his Right Hand Man. Jimmy says he can do what he does, then, Reigns says prove it and Jimmy walks off.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring. She talks about how we are just few weeks away from returning the live fans to the arena and she’s about to whoop up the Bayley again. Belair talks about her Hell In A Cell win against Bayley and says she will never forget all the pain Bayley put her through. Belair continues that she can’t stop smiling and celebrating because she walked out with her title and she’s very proud of herself.
Belair talks about bullies and raises her title high but music interrupts, here comes The Messiah Seth Rollins. Seth says he’s also came to celebrate with Bianca Belair because he also won at Hell In A Cell. Rollins brags but fans booing him. Seth Rollins talks about how he dominated Cesaro in the match at Hell In A Cell and he’s now moving up.
Seth says Belair didn’t dominant Bayley like him and her win is just fluke but win at all the cost and tonight we have the party. Seth Rollins and Belair had few words until Bayley came out to interrupt them. Bayley and Binaca had some words that lead Belair to challenge Bayley to step into the ring.
Bayley enters the ring face-to-face Bianca and says Belair is a pathetic loser, then, Seth Rollins starts crazying laugh. Then, Belair attacked Bayley but Seth stops them but Bayley strikes at Belair and unloading on her. Then, Cesaro came out and started brawling with Seth Rollins while Bayley and Binaca brawling in the ring.
Cesaro knocks Seth Rollins out of the ring while Bayley tosses Belair out of the ring. Now, Bayley stares at Cesaro and yelling at him but Belair came in and knocks Bayley out of the ring with help of Cesaro. Belair music hits and she dances around.
– Bayley and Seth Rollins defeated Bianca Belair and Cesaro via Pinfall in mixed tag team match. After the match, Bayley and Seth Rollins celebrates on the ramp while Belair and Cesaro stares from the ring.
– Jimmy Uso stops Paul Heyman at backstage and asks what Roman Reigns meant by ‘prove it’ tonight. Paul Heyman says Jimmy’s family had Head of the Table that they need, which is Roman Reigns. But now Roman Reigns wants right hand man and if Jey Uso doesn’t show up and be that, then, it would be Main Event Jimmy Uso. Paul says Jimmy to make some progress by winning a match tonight. Paul offers to get a match for Jimmy and mentions that there will be issues if he loses.
– We are ready for official coronation of King Shinsuke Nakamura. We got the recent happenings between Corbin and Nakamura and that lead to match between them for the crown which was won by Shinsuke Nakamura. Rick Boogs came and starts playing Nakamura’s music and here comes the King Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nakamura takes the seat in the throne while Boogs playing guitar. Nakamura puts his thrown on his head and Boogs yells to all hail your king. We see Baron Corbin watching this from the backstage and Kayla Braxton approaches him. She first referes him as King Corbin then calls him as Baron Corbin. He says he lost all not just crown. A very sad and disappointed Corbin asks what’s the point? and walks off.
– Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville at backstage and Seth Rollins walks in. Seth says now is the time. Pearce asks what help they can do. Seth says it’s not what they can do for him but it’s other way. Seth Rollins brings up the Roman Reigns state of Universal Championship address and he’s the next challenger for him. Seth says he’s never been more prepared in his life – mentally, spiritually, physically and more importantly, no one on the roster deserves the chance like he does. Pearce says they’re not ready to do this but Sonya says they will take it under advisement. Seth Rollins says the time is now and walks off.
– Big E defeated Apollo Crews via Pinfall and qualified for Money In The Bank Ladder match. After the match, Big E celebrates and points towards the Money In The Bank briefcase hanging on top.
– Kayla Braxton at backstage with Sami Zyan for an interview. Sami says he’s is in better mood this week after weeks of being down and looking forward to the future. Kayla informs Sami that he will be in the Money In The Bank qualifier match on next week. Then, Sami Zyan rants about the conspiracies and how we’re messing with the karma and his life. He says just got justice at Hell In A Cell and this isn’t right.
– Sami Zyan approaches Adam Pearce at backstage and he’s not happy to wrestle Kevin Owens again in a Money In The Bank qualifier match. Sami says he’s looking easy way out but Pearce denied it. Pearce also informs that it will be Last Man Standing match next week. Then, Sami Zyan warns Adam Pearce that he’s playing dangerous game with karma and walks off. Adam Pearce looks bit surprised.
– Sonya Deville in the ring to pick the first selection for Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match from Smackdown. She picks Carmella and she makes her way to the ring. Carmella says she’s tha two time Money In The Bank winner and also most beautiful women in WWE. She says she will give another chance to Sonya to reintroduce her.
But music hits, here comes the Liv Morgan and taunts Carmella for giving her spotein Money In The Bank Ladder match for self proclaiming herself as most beautiful women of all in WWE. Liv reminds that she defeated Carmella last week and deserves more way than Carmella to enter Money In The Bank Ladder match.
Carmella also taunts Liv Morgan and Morgan attacks Carmella. Sonya Deville stops them and says if Liv Morgan thinks she deserves a spot then she have to prove it. Sonya says she’s not pulling out Carmella from the MITB ladder match but Liv can prove it by defeating Carmella.
– Liv Morgan defeated Carmella via Pinfall. After the match, Liv Morgan celebrates on the ramp and frustrated Carmella stares at her. Carmella calls Mike Rome and says something in ears, then, Mike Rome says the still ‘Most Beautiful Woman In All Of WWE’ is Carmella. WWE didn’t confirm Liv Morgan’s spot for Money In The Bank Ladder match.
– Jimmy Uso at backstage and Kayla Braxton approaches him. Jimmy says pressure is on but he’s not avoiding it. He says he’s dedicating this match to his family and Jey Uso, and hopes Roman Reigns watching it.
– Jimmy Uso defeated Dolph Ziggler via Pinfall. After the match, Jimmy Uso celebrates and makes his way to backstage. We see Roman Reigns watching it in TV at backstage and Jimmy Uso approaches them. Jimmy says did they watch it and asks Reigns thoughts on it. Reigns isn’t thrilled and walks towards the ring. Jimmy also tries go along with then Paul Heyman stops him and says he did a great job in the ring. Jimmy looks confused and disappointed.
– Tribal Chief Roman Reigns in the ring with Paul Heyman to address the state of Universal Championship. Paul Heyman shows us the video of dismantling The Mysterios and says footage almost speaks as eloquently as he does. Fans chanting Roman sucks. Paul Heyman says Head of the Table doesn’t suck.
Paul says here something that sucks and a solution to a problem. Heyman says how “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Cesaro and The Mysterios were all topped by Reigns.
Heyman says in one year Roman Reigns took out entire division and now, he’s going to do something that’s never been done before on WWE TV. Heyman says he has no choice because there’s is no one left. Roman Reigns takes the mic and tries to say something but music hits, here comes the Rated-R Superstar Edge.
Edge rushes towards the ring and attacked Roman Reigns. He unloading on Reigns and sends him to floor. He puts Reigns face through the announce table and brings him back to ring. Then, Edge gets back to the ring but Reigns his superman punch to the Edge and he’s down.
Roman gets the steel chair but Edge hits spear and puts his face onto chair. Edge gets another steel chair but Jimmy Uso came out and attacked Edge. Both gets to tge floor and Edge hits Jimmy’s face to the steel steps and hits spear to Jimmy Uso. Then, Edge enters the ring while Roman Reigns recovering on the stage. Edge says if Roman Reigns wants him, he’s right here and Smackdown goes off air.
