WWE recently released several superstars over the past couple of months including major names like Braun Strowman, Aleister Black and more other, that left many gaps to fill the main roster. Now, WWE is looking towards future and they know they need to change a bit.

It was recently reported that WWE is planning next Draft in last week of August or first week of September. Usually, WWE Draft takes place between Raw and SmackDown brands but this time NXT is going to play the huge part in it.
According to the PWInsider reports, WWE is looking towards NXT this time as they can pull up more different talents from the black and gold brand instead of switching around main roster. That’s the reason WWE brought up few talents recently to ThunderDome.
One of the reason the talents were brought in (and others could be brought in over the next few weeks) is that WWE has a Draft scheduled for September and is looking at different talents they can pull up from NXT to accentuate the main roster as they prepare to shake things up heading into the Fall.
Recently, it was reported that WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross and NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed were at backstage before this week’s Smackdown and had a drak matches. This indicates that company planning to call-up some talent from NXT.
