The Undertaker and AJ Styles match took place at WrestleMania 36, which was originally set to take place infront of live fans but it took place inside WWE Performance Center due to pandemic. Then, WWE planned cinematic Boneyard Match between them, which was won by Undertaker.
The current Raw Tag Team Champion AJ Styles recent appeared as special guest on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast and discussed about several topics. While speaking, AJ Styles revealed that he gave his signed gloves to Undertaker after their match. Later, Undertaker also sent his gloves to Styles with heartfelt letter.
“I called his wife [former WWE Superstar Michelle McCool] and I was like, ‘Hey, what does he want? Because I need to get him something,’” Styles said. “She was just like, ‘Hey, well, give him your gloves. That would mean a lot to him if you signed a glove.’ I was like, ‘Alright.’ Michelle hooked me up. Hopefully that was a gift that he enjoyed. He actually sent his gloves to me with a very nice thank you letter, which meant the world to me.” (H/T: Sportskeeda)
