The former Intercontinental Champion Big E recently appeared as special guest on the WWE’s The Bump Show and discussed about several topics. While speaking, Big E was asked about how soon he planned to win back the Intercontinental Championship.
Then, Big E stated that very soon and he thinks Summer Slam would be the great time to reclaim it. He also had plans of holding Money In The Bank briefcase and Intercontinental Championship at the same time.
“Very soon [I will win back the Intercontinental Championship]. Very soon. Why not SummerSlam? That’ll be a great time to reclaim it. Why not SummerSlam? Picture someone walking around [with a title and the Money in the Bank briefcase]. That’s the plan. Have that Money in the Bank briefcase in [one hand and the Intercontinental Championship in the other]. I wanna be weighed down like Deontay Wilder.” Big E continued, “I wanna be so heavy going to the ring with titles with briefcases that if I do lose, I’d have the excuse that it was all the briefcases and the titles that weighed me down. Big E had successfully singles run after separating from New Day and also won the Intercontinental Championship. But at WrestleMania 37, he lost his IC Title to Apollo Crews and failed to regain it back. Currently, Big E earned the spot in Money In The Bank Ladder Match and have chances of getting guaranteed world title shot.
