The former NXT Champion Keith Lee debuted on main roster on Summer Slam 2020 fallout episode of Monday Night Raw and also got the huge win against Randy Orton at WWE Payback. Later, Lee also got WWE Title shot against Drew McIntyre but failed to capture the title. But he was absent on WWE TV since February 2021.
On the recent edition of Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T discussed about the absence of current Raw Superstar Keith Lee. Booker T believes that would have became the WWE Champion before Allmighty Bobby Lashley.
“He’s definitely a guy that’s on my radar because he was a guy that was making a lot of noise. He’s a guy that was touted to be, you know, a guy that was going to make some ‘major moves’ in the WWE – in that title picture. Bobby Lashley picked up the slack pretty much… came in and took the reins and took off, you know, got the rocket on his back and took off straight to the moon. But, for a second there, that was a spot Keith Lee was about to step right in to, and all of a sudden it was all shut down like that,” said Booker T. (H/T: Sportskeeda)
Currently, Allmighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley set to defend his title against Kofi Kingston at Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view which will take place on July 18th, 2021 at Dickies Arena in Forth Worth, Texas infront of live fans.
