At Money In The Bank 2021 PPV, Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and Rated-R Superstar Edge battled eachother for the Universal Championship. In an incredible match, Edge almost came close to win his 12th World Championship but Seth Rollins ruined it.
At the end of the match, The Messiah Seth Rollins attacked Edge and caused distraction. Then, Roman Reigns took it as advantage and delivered a spear and pinned the Edge to retain his title. Following his loss, Edge finally break the silence and sent a message via his Instagram account.
“What a week. Feel like I got run over by an 18 wheeler carrying elephants. But having all of you back screaming your heads off was the reminder that, for me, this is the best job in the world. And no matter the outcome, just know that when I’m in there, there’s no phoning it in, I’ll give ya everything I have. Which is so much easier to do when I can hear all of you. Let’s keep movin!”
Previously, it was rumored that Edge will be facing Seth Rollins at WWE Summer Slam 2021 PPV. So, it’s look like WWE is building towards the match between Edge and Seth Rollins, and we can also expect Edge to address Seth Rollins on this week’s Friday Night Smackdown.
