The Prince Finn Balor recently made a shocking return to WWE main roster on last week’s Friday Night Smackdown. On his return, he interrupted Sami Zyan and made a statement by attacking him.
The former NXT Champion Finn Balor recently appeared as special guest on WWE’s The Bump Show and discussed about several topics. While speaking, Finn Balor revealed why he chose Friday Night Smackdown over Monday Night Raw. He clearly stated that he came back for Universal Title. Here what Finn Balor said:
“Obviously, myself and the Intercontinental Championship have had a lot of association recently…or more recently, but me personally, I have a lot of unfinished business with the Universal Championship,” said Balor. “It’s something that gets brought up all the time, ‘What if you had not have got hurt?’ or ‘What if things had been different?'”
“For me, it was the journey and what made me the man that I am today, I am very grateful for how it panned out, I wouldn’t change it,” Balor continued. “But…there’s still…I feel like there’s something that has to be revisited with the Universal Championship, and that is why I am back on SmackDown.”

On this week’s Smackdown, Finn Balor defeated Sami Zyan in one-on-one match. Later, on the final segment Finn Balor challenged Roman Reigns for Universal Championship and Tribal Chief also accepted it. WWE didn’t announce when and where these title match will take place.
