WWE fans are scheduled to return to the arena from this week’s Smackdown and Cena’s return would be a huge boost for the company.
Recently, there were doubts about John Cena’s return after announcement of his film Argylle, which scheduled shooting in Europe in August. But on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that John Cena’s movie schedule won’t be a big hurdle for his match at Summer Slam 2021.
“The movie thing is not a hurdle. This is what I was told today. The movie thing’s not a hurdle, and whatever it is, I don’t know exactly what it is, but the belief is it’s all going down. So, the match is happening,” said Dave Meltzer.
