Mercedes Martinez and Xia Li have been feuding from past few weeks in WWE NXT. On this week’s NXT, Mercedes Martinez teamed up with Jake Atlas to face Xia Li and Boa in mixed tag team match.
At the closing moments of match, Mei Ying distracted Mercedes then Xia Li delivered a brutal kick to Martinez that she immediately fell down. Then, Li went for pin but Martinez kicked out. However, referee checked on Mercedes Martinez and called off match as she unable to compete further.

Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select gave an update about Mercedes Martinez condition. He stated that Mercedes Martinez checked in back and staff were told that she was immediately taken to hospital for further evaluation.
