The most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment, The Rock last WWE appearance came on Smackdown’s 20th Anniversary in October 2019. Now, it looks like The Rock is set to return back to WWE later this year.
According to the Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast, WWE plans to bring back The Rock for this year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view.

It should be noted that WWE Survivor Series 2021 will mark the 25th anniversary of The Rock’s debut. So, WWE might have planned a tribute show for the WWE Legend The Rock, similar to the one for The Undertaker back in 2015.
There were also rumors that WWE is planning a huge dream match between The Rock and Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. So, there may be a chances that company might plant seeds to start the feud between Rock and Roman Reigns for Grandest Stage. Recently, it was also reported that WWE considering back up plans to have tag team match between them if The Rock is not available for one-on-one match due to injury concerns.
