Roman Reigns Retains But John Cena Surprises

Heyman stated that Roman Reigns have defeated all the top superstars in blue brand and there’s is no left to challenge Reigns for the title. Then, Rated-R Superstar Edge made a surprise return after two-months off to WWE TV and attacked Roman Reigns and took out Jey Uso.

On the Talking Smack, it was revealed that after Edge’s return, he went to WWE official Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, and demanded a one-on-one rematch against Roman Reigns for Universal Championship and they have granted the match for Money In The Bank 2021 PPV.

It was a hard-hitting contest between the Edge and Roman Reigns. They put everything they have and went beyond their limits. But at the end, The Usos tried to interfere but The Mysterios took the out and Edge got upper hand and almost won the Universal Title.

But Seth Rollins came out of nowhere and attacked Edge. Still Edge fought back but Seth Rollins again distracted and Edge took him out. Then Roman Reigns hits the spear and pinned him to retain the title. After the match, Seth Rollins attacked Edge and went face-to-face with Roman Reigns but Edge recovers and started brawling with Seth Rollins at ringside.

Roman Reigns in the ring with his Universal Championship and Paul Heyman handed Roman Reigns a mic. Reigns says that the whole world should acknowledge him but music hits here comes the 16-time World Champion John Cena and huge pop from fans. He entered the ring and went face-to-face with Roman Reigns. Then, John Cena does his signature ‘you can’t see’ taunt to Reigns and poses on the ring and Money In The Bank PPV goes off air.
