WWE NXT Great American Bash is live from WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Performance Center at Orlando Florida. Vic Joseph welcomes us and he was joined by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix at ringside.
Here The WWE NXT Great American Bash Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– MSK defeated Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa via Pinfall and successfully retained their NXT Tag Team Titles. At the closing moments, Timothy Thatcher went for ankle lock on Wes Lee but Nash Carter levels Tommaso Ciampa, knocking him into Thatcher that breaks submission move. Then, Lee takes advantage of chaos and rolls up Thatcher for pin and retain the titles. After the match, Thatcher was shocked and MSK celebrates with the titles.
– NXT General Manager William Regal makes his way to the along with his enforcer Samoa Joe. William Regal talks about the recent happenings between NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano on WWE NXT and demands them to come out. Music hits, here comes Johnny Gargano by himself and we can see security guards standing all around the ringside. Then, NXT Champion Karrion Kross makes his way to the by himself.
Regal says he had brought them to settle the things. Gargano says Kross sucks and fans started chanting ‘you suck’. Gargano says he has been living rent free in Kross head for weeks and he’s living like King because there is lot of room. Gargano says how Kross saw he’s not level of Gargano at NXT Takeover, that’s why he tried to hit him with car last week. Gargano says Kross is afraid him.
Then, William Regal announces that Karrion Kross will defend his NXT Title against Johnny Gargano on next week’s WWE NXT. Kross isn’t thrilled and he dismissed the idea he’s afraid of Gargano. Kross says they both are not alike and he had size advantage over the Gargano. Kross says he thinks about the same three things every day when he wakes up – never lose the NXT Title, one day main event WrestleMania, and one day become WWE Champion.
Kross says Gargano thinks he can do all those cool technical moves but this is real life and in real life people like Gargano got beaten by people like Kross. Kross says it looks like Gargano put on a pair of his wife’s jeans. Then, William Regal announces that Samoa Joe will be the special guest referee for the match next week. Gargano loves the idea. Gargano exits the ring and says he will see Kross next week. He further says that Kross said something about his wife’s jeans because Kross couldn’t even lace his wife’s boots. Kross says why to wait for next week and goes towards Gargano but Samoa Joe steos in middle. Joe and Kross faces off eachother and segment ends.
– WWE NXT aired the pre-recorded video of NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida. He cuts promo about Diamond Mine for attacking for last week and says he’s ready for Roderick Strong.
– LA Knight defeated Cameron Grimes via Pinfall and successfully retained his Million Dollar Championship. After the match, Knight stood tall while Grimes recovering. With that loss Grimes must serve as Knight’s butler. Knight taunts Grimes and has some things for him to do.
– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. They cuts the promo about Shotzi BlackHeart and Ember Moon, and says they are going to end them soon for good.
– Alicia introduces the 2021 Breakout Tournament competitors on the stage – Trey Baxter, Carmelo Hayes, Andre Chase, Josh Briggs, Ikemen Jiro, Joe Gacy, Odyssey Jones, Duke Hudson. This tournament begins next week and first match will be Hudson vs. Jiro.
– Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell via Pinfall and became the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. At the closing moments, suddenly lights goes off and battery gets 100% charge and Tegan Nox appeared on stage. Candice LeRae shocked. Then, Io Shirai took out both LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Then, Stark tags in and hits finisher on Hartwell and goes for pin to win the tag team titles.
After the match, Io Shirai and Zoey Stark celebrates. Nox attacks LeRae on the ramp and brings her to the ring. Nox unloads on her but LeRae escapes, running back, Nox chases her. Io Shirai and Zoey Stark celebrates with the titles now.
– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with Toni Strom and she cuts promo about NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez. Toni Strom also talks about Sarray’s challenge and says no, as she wasn’t her level.
– We got the footage of Dexter Lumis carrying Indi Hartwell away from the ring after their match during thr commercial.
– It’s time for Hit Row’s Championship Cypher. Ashante “Thee” Adonis is serving as the DJ. “B-Fab” Briana Brandy raps first, followed by “Top Dolla” AJ Francis. New NXT North American Champion Isaiah “Swerve” Scott then performs a song while B-Fab holds his title. The whole group then gathers on the ramp to perform their theme song, heading to the ring together.
– McKenzie Mitchell at backstage with NXT General Manager William Regal and Samoa Joe. Regal gave his thoughts on tonight’s show and he’s pleased. He further says he’s looking forward for the next week’s NXT Title match. Samoa Joe says he doesn’t seems to change the trajectory of the match, as long as he provoked, he won’t get involved and wishes may the best man win.
– Adam Cole defeated Kyle O’Reilly via Pinfall. After the match, Adam Cole celebrates while Kyle O’Reilly recovers and NXT Great American Bash goes off air.
