Tonight’s WWE NXT is live from WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Performance Center at Orlando, Florida. Vic Joseph welcomes us and joined by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix at ringside.
Here The WWE NXT Full Matches And Results With Short Review:
– Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan defeated Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher via Pinfall. At the closing moments, Ciampa applied Fujiwara armbar on Pete Dunne and Thatcher had Lorcan at ringside but returning Ridge Holland attacked Thatcher to free Lorcan. Then, Lorcan entered the ring and attacked Ciampa. Then, Pete hits Bitter End on Cimpa and pinned for victory. After the match, Thatcher tried to attack but Holland levels him. Dunne and Lorcan holds Ciampa to watch Holland destroying Thatcher.
– Samoa Joe came and sat in the ring. He confronted NXT Champion Karrion Kross and asks NXT General Manager William Regal to join him in the ring and he came out. Joe says Regal is going to suspend Karrion Kross for his actions last week but he had better solution. Step one, he resigning and no longer NXT management and step two, with Regal’s signature, he will become the active member of roster. And the step three with signing another paper, it will be official Samoa Joe vs. Karrion Kross at NXT Takeover 36 for NXT Title. Regal signed the contract and Joe takes the contract exits the ring.
– LA Knight and his butler Cameron Grimes at the golf course. Grimes bets $1000 to hit the ball into the trees to Knight, then, bet raised to $5000. Knight hits the balls to the woods and Grimes taunts him saying that he owes $5000.
– Carmelo Hayes defeated Josh Briggs via Pinfall in first round of Breakout Tournament.
– We go back to the LA Knight and Cameron Grimes, where Grimes distracting Knight while hitting the ball. Knight hits the ball into the water and tells Grimes to get the ball. Ted DeBiase appears and gave some encouraging words to Grimes. He said that Grimes was born to be a champion, not a butler. He further said that Grimes needs to fight for what he wants because he’s a fighter and needs to think about that.
– NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai in the ring. Gonzalez addresses her win against Xia Li and ask who’s next for the title. Dakota Kai takes the mic and had huge praise for the Gonzalez. She says Raquel Gonzalez in more dominant women than either Raw and SmackDown, and took out every opponent in the black and gold brand. She asks who is woman enough to challenge Gonzalez for Takeover 36. Kai says there is no one until Kai is back of Gonzalez. Both Kai and Raquel poses in the ring but suddenly, Kai attacks Gonzalez. She hits running knee and put her down. Then, she laid title over Raquel and stood tall.
– Adam Cole cuts promo about Bronson Reed at Backstage.
– NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark had a Backstage segment, which is all about the trust between them.
– Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro defeated Franky Monet and Jessi Kamea via Pinfall. After the match, Franky Monet furious at Robert Stone and yells at him.
– NXT aired the Wade Barrett’s sit-down interview with Diamond Mine and also announced Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish for next week’s NXT.
– IMPERIUM defeated Hit Row via submission. After the match, IMPERIUM stood tall but Wilde and Mendoza attacked them. Dolla runs in and took them out but Santos Escobar came in and took out Dolla. Then, Isaiah Swerve Scott came to save Dolla and stood tall.
– Johnny Gargano, Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae at backstage to talking about the issues within The Way and Austin Theory walking out last week. Someone knocks the door and hands him a drawing from Dexter Lumis, in which Austin Theory was replaced by Lumis. Indi Hartwell likes that idea but Gargano says no chance in the hell. Then, Indi Hartwell proposes match between Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis and came up with a stipulation that if Dexter wins they would give chance to win and if Gargano wins they are done with Lumis.
– We go back to LA Knight and Cameron Grimes, who were at golf court. The Grizzled Young Veterans shows up and proposes a double or nothing bet worth $20,000. Knight accepts it but he hits the ball into the water once again. Knight isn’t happy, telling Grimes to do it if he thinks he can hit the ball better. Grimes hits Knight below the belt two times and then to a hole in one. Grimes blames Grizzled Young Veterans for those low shots and Knight chases them.
– Adam Cole defeated Bronson Reed via Pinfall. After the match, Adam Cole stood tall but Kyle O’Reilly suddenly attacks Cole and put him and NXT goes off air.
