The former Intercontinental Champion Big E won the Money In The Bank briefcase by outlasting seven other superstars – Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Ricochet, Riddle, King Nakamura and John Morrison at Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view.
Recently, Big E had an interview with GiveMeSport and discussed about several topics. While speaking he tried to recall the his brief conversation with WWE Boss Vince McMahon. He didn’t remember what exactly Vince said but he’s very positive about his win.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m trying to remember specifically, stated Big E.” “We had a brief conversation. I’m trying to remember exactly what it was, man. It was definitely positive, it was definitely positive, he had a smile on his face. We talked for thirty seconds or a minute or so and moved on. There’s so much going on, people pulling me in different directions, I had a bunch of interviews to do afterwards. Man, I wish I could give you a gem that you could use of a quote, but I don’t remember exactly what was said, but it was positive. I feel like the whole reception for the match, the reaction, for the finish, all of it was very positive. I wish I had a quote for you, but I can’t remember.”

During the same interview, Big E also opened up about WWE locker room reaction to win Money In The Bank Ladder Match win. He stated that everyone was so nice and also revealed that his close friends and former team team partners Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods left a lovely message for him.
“Yeah man, it’s almost overwhelming,” said Big E.” “Everyone was so nice, and of course Kofi [Kingston] and [Xavier] Woods were the first in gorilla. With what Kofi had that day and what he’d been through, for some reason, I didn’t expect them to be, you know they had other stuff to do. I didn’t necessarily expect them to be there, but those guys are always so thoughtful.”
“There’s whiteboard we had in male talent, it’s a newer building there are a few different dressing rooms, and we found a smaller one which was kind of for us to kind of catch up again, but we were all so busy,” he added.” “There’s actually a whiteboard and they left a very lovely message for me. Those guys are always so supportive. I was almost going to post it, but it did have some cuss words, so I was like ‘ahh let’s just keep this between you and I’, we’re PG and whatnot.”

During the interview, the former tag team champion Big E stated that the welcoming response from the WWE Universe made his day very special.
“Everyone has been so lovely, from fans to my peers,” he said.” “I think in wrestling, it feels rare that, you know when someone wins, it’s usually split to some degree for the most part. This felt, either I missed it, maybe there was some negative reaction, but I didn’t really see much of it. It’s humbling to see so many people be so supportive. It was a special day for me.”
