Many of the names from these list of cuts were surprising for fans especially former NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed, who was reportedly getting ready for his main roster call-up. While, Tyler Rust was recently got the huge chance to shine as a part of Diamond Mine faction on NXT.
Bobby Fish was the part of most dominant NXT faction Undisputed Era and also former NXT Tag Team Champion. He also heavily featured on NXT TV and fans thought that he would get better singles run. Mercedes Martinez is a 15-year veteran, she also got the main roster call-up last as part of RETRIBUTION faction but later decided to move back to NXT.
It has been noted that contracts for the Black and Gold brand often come with the 30-day non-compete clause which means they can join the other promotions. These recent of NXT releases non-compete clause will end on September 5th. Interestingly, this is the day of AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
