The 16-time World Champion John Cena made a surprise return to WWE at Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view and all set to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Champion at Summer Slam 2021. WWE Universe are excited to see this encounter but also had questions about what future holds for John Cena.
The Leader of Cenation John Cena recently had an with Jeff Conway of Forbes and commented about his WWE future. He stated that he would stick around WWE if he wins Universal Championship at Summer Slam 2021 to defend it.
“Man, never say never about the WWE. Like I said, I had a month to myself and here I am back in a ring. So maybe if I get another month to catch my breath, I’ll hopefully make another visit back. I’m going to have to defend that championship that I win from Roman somehow (winks)!”
WWE Summer Slam 2021 is definitely not the final appearance of John Cena as he was already advertised for the September 10th edition of Friday Night Smackdown at historic Madison Square Garden. WWE official website says:
