WWE Summer Slam pay-per-view is one of the biggest event of the company and WWE try to make it more attractive by bringing some celebrities. WWE tried to bring some celebrities to the biggest event of summer but it seems like not happening and we got backstage details about it.
Previously, WWE had intentions to bring Cardi B to host this year’s Summer Slam event but due to her pregnancy those plans were scrapped. As a result, this event was left without a host.
WWE also attempted to bring Mike Tyson for the beginning of the pay-per-view. According to the Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE had plans to bring celebrity Hall of Famer Mike Tyson for this Saturday’s Summer Slam event. The company had idea of voiceover opening video package of Summer Slam by Mike Tyson but WWE is unsuccessful to lock him for the event.
It was also noted that video package will be built around Universal Champion Roman Reigns and John Cena, who are main eventing Summer Slam for the title. While Mike Tyson is not voicing over the opening for the event, no other name has been mentioned for that role.

Not only Mike Tyson, WWE also planned to include another celebrity to the pay-per-view. According to the Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Selectreports, WWE had plans to involve Megan Thee Stallion for Summer Slam in a spot with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, which company thought was a done deal but that agreement has reportedly fallen through.
Sean Ross Sapp also noted that WWE was informed last weekend that Megan Thee Stallion wouldn’t be at Summer Slam and the reasons behind deal falling through are currently unknown.
