Last week, Apollo Crews battled King Nakamura in singles match, which was won by Nakamura after Commander Azeez attacking Nakamura. With that win King Nakamura got the IC Title opportunity on tonight’s Smackdown.
On tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown, King Nakamura battled Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews for the title in one-on-one match. It was a intense match and at the end Nakamura defeated Crews to win the title. We also saw that Rick Boogs and Commander Azeez sent to back during the match, so the finish was clean as Nakamura hits Kinshasa on Crews and pinned him for victory.

Now, King Nakamura is the new Intercontinental Champion and it was his second reign as IC Champion. Apollo Crews won the title by defeating Big E at WrestleMania 37 Night Two in Nigerian Drum Fight, after 125 days he lost title to Nakamura on tonight’s Smackdown.
