On last week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship against The Viper Randy Orton but following that Big E came out and cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase and to win WWE Championship for the first time.
The new WWE Champion Big E recently had an interview on Notsam Wrestling and discussed about several topics including Bobby Lashley’s WWE championship 196-day reign. Big E had a huge praise for the former champion and stated that it’s more meaningful to take title from dominant champion.
“First of all, hats off to Bobby for one incredible reign,” said Big E. “I thought he was an incredible Champion. The man looked the part, performed the part. The stuff that he and MVP were doing together, The Hurt Business, so much of his run I thought he did an incredible job.
“So, being Champion is obviously incredible, but I think what makes it more meaningful is being able to take that title from someone who had a dominant reign or an incredible reign,” Big E continued. (H/T: Sportskeeda Wrestling)
