The Boss Sasha Banks wasn’t seen on WWE TV since the go-home edition of Summer Slam. She was originally set to challenge Bianca Belair for Smackdown Women’s Championship at Summer Slam event but Banks was replaced by The Man Becky Lynch, who won the Smackdown Women’s Title from Bianca Belair.
Now, we got some backstage details about Sasha Banks. According to the PWInsider reports, Sasha Banks wasn’t at recent edition of Smackdown tapings, which means she’s not cleared to compete. It was also noted that Banks unlikely to return for next edition of Smackdown.
Sasha Banks was expected to return to Smackdown for the Super Show at MSG. The hope is that Banks will be back on the road from the September 10th but this is uncertain as it’s a expectation within WWE.
There were also no details regarding the sudden absence of the Sasha Banks from Smackdown. Previously, it was reported that both Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair not cleared to compete at Summer Slam but it was only Banks missed the biggest party of summer.
