It was said that if the company saw major increase in ratings then top stars like Roman Reigns might continue to appear on both brands despite of brand split. The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns was brought to Raw in an attempt to boost the ratings and now, we got an update about on if he continue to appear on Raw and SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Roman Reigns appearing on the both show is not a long-term strategy, however, in case of decrease in the ratings WWE might likely use this strategy. But as of this week, this wasn’t the the regular plan of the company.
”Regarding talk that the top stars may appear on both brands like Reigns to try and boost ratings after this week. “Not a long-term strategy. Not even a short-term one.” Of course all can change on a moment’s notice but as of this week this wasn’t something they were planning on regularly doing,” stated Meltzer.
