The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar made a suprise return at WWE Summer Slam 2021 at the end of the show and confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his former advocate Paul Heyman. Following that fans expected that Brock Lesnar will show up at Smackdown but it didn’t happen.
According to the Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports, Roman Reigns likely opponent for WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view is Finn Balor. The recent edition of Smackdown ended with Finn Balor confronting Roman Reigns and also Finn will challenge Reigns for Universal Championship on next Smackdown.

WWE already started building towards Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar as we see that The Usos joking around Paul Heyman about Brock Lesnar and locking him out of Roman Reigns locker room. Paul Heyman also scared to face Roman Reigns but surprisingly Reigns looks clam about Brock Lesnar’s return. Obviously, we see some tensions between The Bloodline and Paul Heyman and it’s interesting to see what will happen on coming days.
