For this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, AJ Styles was advertised to team up with Omos to face current Raw Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Riddle. But Styles missed this week’s Raw and that match didn’t took place.
Now, we got an update about AJ Styles absence. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio suggested that Styles’ absence could most likely be due to an unforeseen injury.
On previous week, AJ Styles and Omos challenged Randy Orton and Riddle for the Raw Tag Team Titles at WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view but they failed to capture the titles. Currently, there is no definitive news surrounding AJ Styles’ status and neither WWE nor AJ Styles have confirmed the reason behind his absence.
