The Fiend Bray Wyatt’s release from WWE is one the biggest shocker this year. Bray Wyatt was on hiatus after his loss to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37 and on July 31st, WWE released him. At that time, it was reported that his release was a cost-cutting measure and now, we got an update about it.
WWE has come to terms on the release of Bray Wyatt. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors. https://t.co/XIsUbaMUZ7 pic.twitter.com/koRuC3w1yr

Andrew Zaran of Mat Men Wrestling Podcast reported that Bray Wyatt was being difficult, had some performance and weight issues. He also noted that’s not the exact reason for his release but it’s also one of them. Zarian further noted that while there were financial reasons for WWE to choose to release Wyatt, there are plenty of other scenarios in play:
“Bray was being difficult… He was a little difficult, he had some performance issues in the ring, and he had some weight issues. I’m not saying that that’s the reason, I’m not gonna say that’s the reason, but you can kind of piece things together,” said Andrew Zarian.
“When you evaluate a talent and you’re, like, ‘Okay we need this and we need that and this is the plan moving forward’, you need someone… sometimes the decision is easier to make if you make it more difficult for them to make that decision,” ad Andrew Zarian. (H/T: WrestleTalk)
