WWE recently released its tentative schedule of pay-per-views in 2022 with dates and venues. They also confirmed that next year’s WrestleMania, once again will be two-night event. It was also revealed that company’s most of the pay-per-views will be taking place on Saturday instead of their regular Sunday slot.
According to the Fightful Select reports, they have reached out dozen of Superstars over the 2022 pay-per-view schedule and they were claimed – “happy” with the schedule. A WrestleMania split into two nights, for example, eases up the workload for both the show itself, as well as the media and other events that go along with the pay-per-view.
Fightful has spoken with numerous WWE talent who are happy with the company’s PPV schedule announcement.

It seems that WWE’s decision to move these events to Saturdays to avoid coincide with the NFL’s regular season. Because the most of the NFL weekly games hold on Sunday, a move towards the day prior means the company won’t have to compete for this viewership audience. (That being said, there’s usually one nightly NFL game held on Saturdays.)
