Previously, it was noted that budget cuts were the reason for the recent releases, which was the same reason for the releases since April 2020. Now, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Ember Moon has been given a 90-day non-compete clause instead of a 30-day one.
Even though Ember Moon was brought back to WWE NXT, her WWE contract was still the main roster one. So, that’s the reason for her 90-day non-compete clause.
Previously, Ember Moon was a member of the main roster at one point but she was returned back WWE NXT after suffering a severe Achilles injury that put her out of action. However, she overcame a career-threatening injury and made her way back into the ring again.
Ember Moon’s last appearance in WWE came on October 5th episode of NXT 2.0, in which she lost to the new NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
