The recent COVID-19 issues have raised more concerns about the upcoming WWE Day 1 pay-per-view match card. Several WWE stars that includes Universal Champion Roman Reigns, WWE Champion Big E, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and others were pulled from recent live events, as well as this week’s Monday Night Raw. Seth Rollins has also confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 via his Twitter account. Now, we got an update about this situation.

Dave Meltzer on the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio provided an update current situation in WWE. He stated that all the superstars who missed the shows weren’t tested positive for COVID-19. Some stars are taken off from the events in order to protect the announced match card for the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view.
Meltzer also mentioned that this is for the main event matches in particular. Kevin Owens has been the only one superstar to work from the major title bout. He also further stated that all the matches announced for the Day 1 pay-per-view are happening and all stars advertised for the PPV are expected to appear. But there is also chances that this course could change in the coming days based on the situation.
