The New WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman reunited on the opening segment of Monday Night Raw. They both took the shots at Universal Champion Roman Reigns during the segment including a line where Heyman said Reigns will be vulnerable on SmackDown without him, proof being the fact that he caught COVID-19 after just one week. Lesnar sent Reigns “get well soon” wishes and that was it.
Later on the main event, Bobby Lashley defeated Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens and became the #1 contender for the WWE Title, and he will challenge Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble 2022. After the match, Lesnar was shown watching Lashley’s post-match celebration backstage when Kevin Patrick approached him for a comment.

Lesnar ignored Lashley but sent a warning to Reigns for SmackDown. He said that “A comment? I do have a comment. Tell Roman Reigns I’ll see him this Friday on SmackDown”. The first Friday Night SmackDown of 2022 and will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Roman Reigns also advertised to appear for the show, but no matches have been announced as of now.
