The two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was written off to Television after Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin attacked him backstage at Day 1 event. The two men blindsided him and assaulted with steel, where that leads a need of medical attention. This angle was done because McIntyre needed some time off due to a neck issue he had been facing for months.
