The former NXT Champion Samoa Joe once again got released by WWE. This the second time he was let go by the company in less than a year.
Initially, he was let go by the company on April 15 last year alongside with other stars like Mickie James and The IIconics due to budget cuts. Then, he was later re-hired as a special enforcer for NXT and as a talent scout.
Later, he also returned to the ring and won the NXT Title from Karrion Kross. Before the debut of NXT 2.0, Joe relinquished his title as he was not medically cleared and now he was released by the company.
