On the last week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, we saw three qualifying matches to decide the participants for the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match. .Riddle defeated Otis, AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio, and Austin Theory defeated Kevin Owens to earn their spot in the chamber match. While, Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar were added directly to the match for their performances at the Royal Rumble event.
Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the original plans for Raw were changed multiple times, including the main event. It’s noted that main event was supposed to have fatal five way match between Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, and Austin Theory, with the person getting pinned to be excluded from the Elimination Chamber.
This report also added that Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar were surely included in the Chamber match. We also saw, Dolph Ziggler defeated Angelo Dawkins but the initial plan was for Montez Ford to be in Dawkins’ spot before they realized the show was held in the Ford’s hometown.
