WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestled his last match against Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania 19. Although he has made sparodic appearances in the WWE as an authority figure, a special guest referee and during his Hall of Fame induction, he didn’t get back in the ring in any competitive capacity.
Recently, there were many surrounding around the internet that WWE reached out Stone Cold to come out of retirement to wrestle a match at WrestleMania 38 and potential opponent as the former Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Now, we got an another update about his return.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, though, there is no official confirmation regarding Steve Austin’s in-ring return, as the ‘Bionic Redneck’ is yet to fully commit to the match.

Even though he doesn’t wrestle at the WWE’s biggest event, Steve Austin still expected to appear during WrestleMania in some capacity, because he has been heavily used in WWE’s promotional material for the show.
