Following the main event of this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins attacked with a Curb Stomp on the steel steps. Later, WWE announced that Riddle suffering from a “brachial plexus injury,” or in simpler terms, a stinger had been injured due to Rollins attack. As a result, the match between the two at SummerSlam has been postponed.

Sean Ross Sapp for Fightful Select reported that the injury was added to the storyline due to “creative adjustments.” Both wrestlers were reportedly told this on Monday itself. The match is now expected to take place at the Clash at The Castle premium live event on September 3. Yet, nothing is confirmed at the moment.
It’s also noted that Seth Rollins will likely still travel to Nashville, the location for this year’s Summer Slam, to fulfill media obligations scheduled for Friday, and there is a possibility for Rollins to participate in the Summer Slam for a match against a surprise opponent.
