WWE Summer Slam 2022 is takes place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. WWE announced eight matches for the event. The main event of the show will be Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE Universal championship.
Other title matches are Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch for Raw Women’s Championship, Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey for SmackDown Women’s Championship, Bobby Lashley vs. Theory for United States Championship and The Usos vs. The Street Profits for Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles.
WWE also announced Pat McAfee will face Happy Baron Corbin in one-on-one match, The Mysterios vs. The Judgement Day and Logan Paul will face The Miz in singles match.

– Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch via pinfall and successfully retained her Raw Women’s Championship. After the match, Becky Lynch offers her hand to Belair and the two of them shake and show their respect for each other. But, they were interrupted by returning Bayley. Then, Dakota Kai came out. It seems both women appear to be on the same page…but they’re not alone. Now, Io Shirai is here too.
All three women then head to the ring, but then Becky Lynch returns and squares off against them alongside Bianca Belair. Bayley decides to back off, and her teammates retreat with her.
– Logan Paul defeated The Miz via pinfall.
– Bobby Lashley defeated Theory via submission and successfully retained his United States Championship.
– Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio defeated The Judgement Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) via pinfall. At the closing moments, Rhea Ripley interfered in the match and Balor and Priest took control. Then, WWE Hall of Famer Edge returned and took out Balor and Priest with spear. Then, Rey hits 619 on Balor and pinned for the victory.
– Pat McAfee defeated Happy Baron Corbin via pinfall.
– Drew McIntyre makes his entrance and gets on the mic. He stops in the aisle and cuts a promo. He talks about how he loves Nashville and talks about becoming #1 contender and how he doesn’t care who wins tonight, because at Clash at the Castle he’s gonna beat that ass and take the titles. He raises his sword to end the segment.
– The Usos defeated The Street Profits via pinfall and successfully retained their WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles.
– Riddle suddenly jumps out of nowhere and enters the ring with a mic. He says he’s not cleared to compete but his pal Randy told him not to take crap from anybody, and that includes Seth Rollins, so he wants him and calls out.
Seth Rollins came out in a orange outfit and officials tries to stop him. Seth runs over the entrance and Riddle too. Riddle lights him up with punches on the ramp as referees and road agents try to break them up. They enter the ring and throwing kicks. Rollins got the upper hand and puts Riddle down with a stomp. Officials calls Seth to leave and checks on Riddle. Seth leaves with a a laugh while Riddle is recovering in the ring.
– Liv Morgan defeated Ronda Rousey via pinfall in a controversial fashion and successfully retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship. At the closing moments, Rousey goes for arm bar but Liv pushes Rousey for pin while arm bar locked in.
After the match, commentators points out that Liv Morgan tapped right before referee counted three. Ronda complains at referee for calling the pin. We get footage of both angles showing both things to be true, and Rousey puts Morgan in an armbar until referee pulls her off. Frustrated Rousey attacks Morgan and applies arm bar on her, then, she also applied arm bar on referee. WWE officials came out and tells her to leave.
– Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in Last Man Standing match and still Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
