At WWE Summer Slam 2022, The Role Model Bayley made her long awaited return to WWE over a year. However, she didn’t return alone as she was accompanied by Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky. Now, we got some backstage details about the Bayley’s new faction.
According to PWInsider reports, WWE had plans for Bayley to return at Summer Slam but the addition of Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky was a last minute decision. This rumor was backed up by Dakota Kai on WWE’s The Bump when she stated that she flew to Nashville just the night before the show.
WWE also filed a trademark for ‘IYO SKY’ on July 31 instead of filing in advance like they always do. The change in plans kicked in with the new management taking over the creative.
On this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch showed up with an arm sling, indicating that she had indeed dislocated her shoulder during her title match with Bianca Belair. Following Lynch’s segment, she was attacked by the Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky at backstage before the EST arrived to make a save.
