On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Edge wrestled his first match in his hometown of Toronto. He defeated Damian Priest in main event before being saved by his wife Beth Phoenix from a beatdown of Judgement Day. After Raw went off air, WWE Hall of Famer Edge announced when he plans to retire and how he wants to go out.
After Raw went off air, The Rated-R Superstar Edge cuts a promo revealing that he plans to seeing everyone next August and in a perfect world, he’ll wrestle final match in Canada in August 2023.
“So next August, I plan on seeing each and every one of you, and in a perfect world, we’ll all say goodbye to each other that night. Hey, that’s okay, man. This is the place for me to do it. I mean this when I say it — I love all of you. In case you missed it, I love being Canadian.”
