WWE suspended Ronda Rousey for attacking referee following her title match against Liv Morgan at Summer Slam 2022 premium live event. Since then, she has been playing a more heelish character during her appearances on TV. Now, we got an update about WWE plans for her.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the former Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will remain a “good guy” for the time being. It’s also noted that the company’s long-term idea for her was to turn heel.
“The long-term idea for her was to be a heel, but obviously right now the storyline with her suspended and defying authority is for her to be a babyface,” Meltzer wrote. (H/T: NoDQ)
