It’s been nearly three months since Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE Monday Night Raw following creative differences. The Women’s Tag Team titles were vacated due to the incident, and a tournament was announced to crown the titles. After the two months of that announcement, WWE revealed the date for tournament.
On this week’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown, WWE announced that tournament to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team champions will begin on next edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. It will be interesting to see which teams will be participating in the tournament.
