The former Universal Champion Kevin Owens has largely been absent from WWE TV in October, with his only appearance came on WWE NXT. He was last seen on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown teaming up with Johnny Gargano. It seems that Sami Zayn’s current angle with The Bloodline put in hold plans for Kevin Owens.
The former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn current storyline as ‘Honorary Uce’ of The Bloodline might be the best thing happening in WWE right now. Speaking with Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes reported that The Prizefighter Kevin Owens is not on television because of how over Sami Zayn has gotten as a part of Roman Reigns’ Bloodline.
“He was pegged to get involved with Sami and The Bloodline, but that’s white hot right now. Those plans from what I’ve been told are definitely pushed back, but they’re not off, because the plan is for Kevin Owens to be with Sami Zayn.” [H/T: GiveMeSport]
Essentially, it seems like Sami was going to split from The Bloodline around now, siding with Kevin Owens, but Triple H has realised just how popular the act is and delayed any plans for a breakup. Very much the right call.

WrestleVotes further stated that the Sami Zayn was only supposed to be a member of The Bloodline for a few weeks but this angle become huge successfully and it grown organically.
“Whatever they had planned for Kevin Owens is totally on pause because this stuff with Sami doesn’t come around often. This was supposed to be a little three, four week comedy deal, and it’s getting big.”
It seemed that Kevin Owens was set to get fully involved with The Bloodline, but Triple H has reportedly “paused” those plans. WWE’s plans to reunite Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are still alive, the moment will likely happen much later than anticipated.
