Backstage Details About Cody Rhodes And Paul Heyman Promo On Monday Night Raw
On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, an intense promo exchange took place between The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman. The former TNT Champion Cody Rhodes started by addressing Sami Zayn, who he may face at WrestleMania 39. Heyman then confronted him, and they had a long discussion about the late Dusty Rhodes.
Paul Heyman concluded by saying that while Cody Rhodes was Dusty’s favorite son, Roman Reigns was the son that The American Dream Dusty Rhodes always wanted. In response, Cody Rhodes declared that he would defeat Roman Reigns and claim his world titles at WrestleMania 39.
According to Fightful Select, WWE’s senior producer Michael Hayes was credited with orchestrating the successful promo between Cody Rhodes and Paul Heyman. It was also noted that Michael Hayes also produced the Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley heated promo on Monday Night RAW.
Bayley Challenges WWE Personality For A Match At WrestleMania
On this week’s episode of WWE’s The Bump show, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley appeared as special guest to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When a fan asked her if she could challenge Michael Cole to a future match, the leader of Damage CTRL talked herself into wanting a match with the SmackDown commentator Michael Cole at WrestleMania 40.
“I would love to have a match with Michael Cole,” Bayley said. “I mean he comes up to me every single time I see him and he goes, ‘When are we going to have our match? I’m undefeated!’ And I’m like dude, I have a lot to do! But there will come a day when I could finally whoop him and maybe take his job. Yeah, that’s it.
