The Viper Randy Orton has been sidelined from in-ring action since May 2022 due to a back injury. Randy Orton’s last match happened on May 20th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, in which he and Riddle lost their Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos and unified both tag team titles. Following that match, The Usos and Roman Reigns attacked Orton, and few days later, it was announced that Orton had suffered a legitimate back injury and was expected to be on hiatus for the rest of 2022. Now, we got an update about Randy Orton WWE return.
On the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has reported that the former WWE Champion Randy Orton will be back to WWE quite soon.
“All the indications are that he’s on his way back, which is also good news because at the end of last year, there were definitely people worried about him.” (H/T WrestlingnewsCo)
Dave Meltzer also discussed about Randy Orton’s RK-Bro tag team partner, Matt Riddle and stated that he does not know yet about his Riddle’s return to the ring.
“Riddle, you know what the situation is with Riddle. He could come back at any time. I have not heard his name mentioned,” Meltzer said.
