It’s WrestleMania season, and with that comes the anticipation of some massive WWE matches. Recently, SmackDown Superstar Drew McIntyre issued a challenge to none other than The Undertaker himself.
The Undertaker, who had an incredible career in the ring, officially retired from in-ring competition at Survivor Series 2020. Last April, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in his home state of Texas, receiving thanks and gratitude from fans and fellow wrestlers for his more than 30 years of dedication to the wrestling industry.
In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre called out The Phenom Undertaker for a one-on-one match. The two stars first faced off in 2010 on Friday Night SmackDown, which saw Undertaker emerge victorious.
“Come on mate [Undertaker], you can do it, we’ll do one of these cinematic matches if you want, but I know you could do it if you wanted to.” (From 30:57 to 31:06)(H/T: Sportskeeda Wrestling)
WrestleMania 39, WWE’s biggest premium live event of the year, is set to take place this weekend at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. In preparation for the high-profile show, a recent report from PWInsider Elite revealed that The Undertaker, along with other WWE legends such as his on-screen brother Kane, will be in attendance in the City of Angels during The Show of Shows.
