At WrestleMania 39 Night 1, The Visionary Seth Rollins defeated The Maverick Logan Paul via pinfall.
Logan Paul, who had been out of action due to injury since Crown Jewel in November 2022, made a surprise return as an entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble event. Paul eliminated Seth “Freakin” Rollins from the match, which resulted in Rollins bad-mouthing Paul in subsequent interviews. Rollins expressed that he did not want Paul to be part of WWE.
During the Elimination Chamber match, Paul sneaked into the Chamber and attacked Rollins, causing him to lose the United States Championship. Rollins later invited Paul to appear on the March 6 episode of Raw to fight, but Paul declined and hinted that they could face each other at WrestleMania 39. The Miz, who was hosting WrestleMania, offered to make the match official, and it was later confirmed. Paul also confirmed on his Impaulsive podcast that the match would take place on Night 1.

At the closing moments of the match, Logan Paul blocks the Stomp and turns it into a GTS in the middle of the ring. Paul goes back to the top and hits the big Frogsplash but Rollins kicks out just in time. Paul is back up first now. Paul ends up going for Coast 2 Coast but Rollins intercepts him in mid-air with a superkick. Rollins then nails the Stomp for the pin to win.

After the match, Rollins stands tall as the music hits and fans begin singing his song. Rollins continues his celebration as Cole plugs Money In the Bank from London later this year while showing us riled up fans at a WrestleMania Watch Party in the UK, hosted by BT Sport apparently. Seth Rollins plays to the crowd and heads up the ramp as Logan Paul checks on KSI.
